32. Theo Hernández

At some point, you just wonder: how does Atlético do it? They’ve stockpiled world-class prodigies in nearly every position, and Theo Hernández is one of them. Brother of #41 on this list, Theo still has to improve defensively, but it is evident he will be Filipe Luís’s successor, as evidenced by his superb season at Mauricio Pellegrino’s Deportivo Alavés. As evidenced with his assist to Deyverson against the current European champions, he’s very effective in attack. Like Lucas, he’s a dauntless Caudilloat center back, and his blistering power and force is not unlike many English players of the same position, especially that of Southampton’s fabled production line(Ryan Bertrand, Gareth Bale etc.) He’s a nightmare for hulking target men, but his real niche is at left back, as a blistering, hug-the touchline fullback for Pellegrino’s side.
