For Leeds United, the objective has changed. A year ago, the primary objective was simple: establish themselves in the Premier League and make their return to the topflight of English football permanent. This season, that is not enough.

Leeds have already shown that they can compete at this level. This summer has shown that they are not interested in simply staying in the Premier League but are instead aiming for a top-half finish.

25/26 Season

Last season, Leeds started their campaign strongly, winning against Everton on opening day and subsequently picking up points against Newcastle, Wolverhampton, and Bournemouth. However, from Matchweek 7 through Matchweek 12, Leeds lost every game, and serious questions about the position of manager Daniel Farke began to emerge.
