Scott Brown

Scottish football legend Brown started his career at Hibs and was part of the Hibs side that won the League Cup under John Collins in 2007. With one year of management under his belt at Fleetwood Town in the EFL, he would be an appointment that could get the fans on board right away.

Danny Cowley

The former Huddersfield and Portsmouth manager is out of work and was a highly rated coach after a stellar job at Lincoln City in the past. His last two jobs have not ended as he would have liked them to but he would no doubt fancy the challenge to turn Hibs around and show what he could do in a new league and a new country.

David Martindale

He worked wonders at Livingston to establish the club as a Scottish Premiership side despite working on the lowest budget in the division. Could he tempt Queen of the South manager and Hibs Scottish Cup winner Marvin Bartley to team up with him again in Leith? That would certainly be an interesting prospect.

Thomas Courts

He managed for one season in the Scottish Premiership and it was a stellar season at that, taking Dundee United into the Europa Conference League qualifiers via a strong-placed league finish before moving to Hungary to manage Honved. He is currently out of work, previously managing Dylan Levitt and getting the best out of the playmaker, and he could very well be set for a reunion with the Welsh midfielder.

Chris Wilder

Heavily linked with Aberdeen before the appointment of Barry Robson, Wilder has been out of work since leaving Middlesbrough in October 2022 with the club sitting in the bottom three of the Championship. He was one of the most highly rated English managers when he was in charge at Sheffield United. Could he rebuild that reputation at Easter Road?
