With Achraf Hakimi's two-year loan coming to an end, Borussia Dortmund have worked swiftly to sign his replacement, bringing in Thomas Meunier on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the Belgian right back turns 29 in September, and his attacking shortcomings have led many to speculate whether he can adequately replace Hakimi in the right wing-back position in Lucien Favre's 3-4-2-1.
